They have rejected the referendum because it is clear what the people want.

In his speech, Mawlawi Abdul Hamid announced that they have rejected the issue of a referendum because it is clear what the people want.

Today, Friday, 8 Ordibehesht 1402, Maulvi Abdul Hamid, the Imam of the Zahedan congregation, spoke about the issues of political activists in his Friday prayer sermons in the city. Referring to the request of some political activists for a referendum and the violence being carried out against political prisoners, as well as the situation of detainees, he said: "UN human rights reports indicate a shocking situation and violent treatment of political detainees and prisoners, as well as the harassment and abuse of prisoners after their release. Some officials have rejected the issue of a referendum because they know, and it is very clear and obvious, what the people want and what its outcome will be."

After Molavi Abdul Hamid's speech, the citizens of Zahedan also held a protest rally, chanting "Freedom, freedom, freedom," demanding justice and freedom for Iran, protesting against the detainees, and also protesting the death sentences of innocent people.
