Execution of "Roozbeh Wadi" on charges of being a Mossad spy

"Ruzbeh Wadi" was executed this morning on charges of spying for Mossad.

Roozbeh Wadi, son of Ibrahim, was arrested and tried on charges of espionage, collaboration with Mossad, and sending nuclear information to benefit the Zionist regime. After a criminal trial and confirmation and finalization of the verdict by the Supreme Court, he was executed this morning, Wednesday, August 6.

In the past few hours, the Islamic Republic's judiciary announced, in a vague and ambiguous statement, the execution of Roozbeh Vadi on charges of spying for Israel, without mentioning his position, occupation, or expertise in nuclear projects.

Roozbeh Vadi was a PhD graduate in nuclear engineering with a reactor focus from Amirkabir University of Technology. He was also a former researcher at the Nuclear Science and Technology Research Institute affiliated with the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran. In 2011, Mr. Vadi had published a joint article with two prominent nuclear experts, Abdulhamid Minouchehr and Ahmad Zolfaghari. Minouchehr and Zolfaghari were also killed during the Israeli attacks on Iran.

According to security sources, Roozbeh Wadi passed sensitive information to the Israeli intelligence service and was supposed to prepare for a trip to Vienna after passing this information on. His trip was also covered by attending a specialized scientific course, during which he also met with Mossad officers.

According to judicial officials, Wadi was recruited to work with Mossad through cyberspace and participated in various evaluation processes for Mossad officers. After completing the evaluation and verification processes, he was introduced to one of the best sections of Mossad by a person named "Alex."

According to the authorities' claim, which was published after reviewing the Wadi case, Roozbeh was required to send the Israeli intelligence service weekly updates on the organization's developments and the information he had, and would receive a suitable reward after answering technical questions.

Judicial authorities claim that Wadi said in his confessions: "I was not responsible for making the final decision regarding the direct Mossad officer. I only suggested to Kevin that I send a package of aggregated information that I had collected on a weekly basis and that they pay me over time. The Mossad officer strongly opposed this plan and I was told that I had to send him all the information I had available at once so that after reviewing and evaluating it, the appropriate reward could be paid."

Roozbeh Wadi's cooperation with the Mossad spy service and attempts to send nuclear information and receive money in exchange for information led to his being sentenced to death based on a court ruling citing Article 6 of the Law on Countering Hostile Actions of the Zionist Regime Against Peace and Security and Articles 279, 283, 286, and 211 of the Islamic Penal Code approved in 2013.

Roozbeh Wadi is not the only person who has been arrested and sentenced to death on charges of spying for Mossad. According to published reports on the arrest of many Christians and Jews on charges of spying for Israel, many of them are in detention and in limbo without any credible evidence or documents, and their fate is unknown.

In many cases, no information about the identities or reasons for the charges against the arrested individuals has been released to the media, and due to threats against their families, news of their arrests and unknown fate remains a secret.
