Mike Pompeo calls Iran the world's leading sponsor of anti-Semitism

The US Secretary of State once again accused the leaders of the Islamic Republic of anti-Semitism at a conference of the American Jewish Committee. Pompeo once again supported Donald Trump's policy of withdrawing the US from the nuclear deal, calling it a principled policy.

The American Jewish Committee (AJC) annual conference was held online this year due to the coronavirus outbreak in the country.

US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo was one of the speakers at the conference. German Chancellor Angela Merkel and the leader of the Muslim World League are also scheduled to speak at the conference.

According to a report published by the "Republic World" website, Mike Pompeo spoke online at the American Jewish Committee's annual conference on June 14.

In his speech to the Jews, the US Secretary of State announced that the US would under no circumstances allow the Islamic Republic to equip itself with nuclear weapons.

Pompeo has considered the US policy of withdrawing from the nuclear deal a principled one and emphasized that the country will continue its policy of applying maximum pressure against the leaders of the Islamic Republic.

Support for anti-Semitism

Mike Pompeo has also identified the Islamic Republic of Iran as the main sponsor of anti-Semitic acts in the world.

The US Secretary of State has also emphasized that Donald Trump's policy for Middle East peace is "the most realistic path to resolving the conflict between the Israeli government and the Palestinians."

This comes at a time when Palestinian leaders have refused to accept Donald Trump's Middle East peace plan, describing it as unilateral and in favor of Israel.

In his speech, Mike Pompeo also once again criticized China's policies regarding information, saying that China has also jeopardized global security by spreading inaccurate news and advancing an opaque military policy.
