Kazem Seddiqi: Khamenei had put the commanders to sleep in salt water

Kazem Seddiqi said in Friday prayer sermons yesterday: "Khamenei had put the commanders to sleep in salt water."

On Friday, July 18, Tehran's Friday prayer leader, Kazem Seddiqi, in his sermons after Friday prayers, called on people to be pious and spoke about the war between Israel and the Islamic Republic and Ali Khamenei's measures.

In his speech, he said: "Khamenei had, as the common people say, soaked the new commanders in salt water and had held them accountable. Do not get involved with each other and do not listen to any voice other than the voice of the government, because it is the voice of the enemy that causes division."

He also added to those present at Friday prayers in Tehran: "If you fly with the two wings of patience and piety, you will always be at the top and nothing will be imposed on you by the enemies."

Sedighi delivered a speech at Friday prayers in Tehran, where he is leading them, while his son and daughter-in-law have been arrested in the past few weeks in connection with a financial and economic corruption case. Their case was made public with the arrest of six people, including Sedighi's son and daughter-in-law, a case that has drawn attention to Kazem Sedighi's role in the affair.

Sedighi's speech at Friday prayers in Tehran, following the arrest of his son and daughter-in-law and speculation about Kazem Sedighi's own involvement in this financial and economic corruption case, drew widespread criticism. "Ruhollah Momennasb," secretary of the Tehran Province Amr-e-Maruf Headquarters, also wrote about it: "The enemies want Sedighi's wise behavior not to be a role model for the authorities of the regime."

Reza Taghavi, a member of the Central Council of the Fighting Clergy Society, also referred to the 12-day war between Israel and Iran and said: "One of the biggest blows we have suffered has been from traitorous and evil beings. The faces of the hypocrites who have infiltrated the institutions or are active outside them must be made known to the people."

"Artin" also wrote in response to Seddiqi's words in the "Goya Newsletter": "Seddiqi's return to Friday prayers had a clear message; if Khamenei steps back even a little, it is only for tactics, not to really compromise. Then it was also proven that in the dictator's dictionary, neither popularity nor efficiency is important, only loyalty is a condition. Seddiqi is not accepted by the people, nor even by some of these Hezbollah kids, but as long as he is loyal to the House, not only is there no elimination, but he is brought to the stage whenever necessary. In this way, Khamenei is sending a message to everyone that the game is in his hands and that the reckoning is only with him, not the people or even his mercenaries. This is also a punch in the mouth for those who still have the illusion of reform or change from within."
