Claudia Tenney: The Senate must immediately approve the plan to overthrow and change the government of the Islamic Republic
Claudia Tenney, a Republican representative in the US Congress who proposed a resolution to change the Islamic Republic's government, said: "Washington stands with those who call for overthrow, and the Senate should immediately approve his bill."
To this end, members of the US House of Representatives implemented this plan and voted, with a result of 420 votes in favor and 1 vote against, to approve a resolution of solidarity and Washington's support for the protests in Iran.
This resolution was passed this morning, Thursday, January 26 (6th of February).
American lawmakers from both the Democratic and Republican parties, referring to the passage of this bill, announced on their personal Twitter pages that they would fully support the protesters in Iran and also the change of the Iranian regime.
According to Al Arabiya Persian news agency, New York Democratic Representative George Meeks addressed the Iranian people: "Know that we are watching over you. We know what situation you are dealing with and we understand its dangers. Be strong and stay strong, because freedom always triumphs over tyranny."
