Suicide of a 16-Year-Old Teenager in Mahabad

On Sunday, the 15th of Farvardin, a 16-year-old girl in Mahabad took her own life by hanging and died. The share of Iranian teenagers in annual suicides has been reported by the Legal Medicine Organization as more than 7 percent.

According to the Hrana news agency, citing Kurdpa, on Sunday, the 15th of Farvardin 1400, a teenage girl in Mahabad took her own life by hanging and died.

Based on this report, the identity of this teenager has been named as Sharareh (Elaha) Alipour from the Fajr neighborhood of Mahabad.

It is said that she ended her life due to social problems.

Mahabad is one of the cities in West Azerbaijan Province.
