The process of referring the downing of flight PS752 to the International Court of Justice in The Hague has begun.

Hamed Esmailiou released a video of himself talking about the beginning of the process of referring the case of the downing of Flight PS752 to the International Court of Justice in The Hague.

He says in the video: "Today, four countries, Canada, Ukraine, Britain, and Sweden, issued an important diplomatic warning to the Islamic Republic. This diplomatic note indicates the criminal responsibility of the Islamic Republic based on the 1971 Montreal Convention. A treaty that guarantees international aviation safety. This note holds the Islamic Republic responsible for deliberately shooting down the flight and is addressed to all those who played a role in downing flight PS752. The Islamic Republic has six months to respond to this warning, and at the end of these six months, which cannot be extended, the four governments can officially refer the case to the International Court of Justice in The Hague. The path that the Families Association has taken to reach this important and fundamental point in achieving justice has been full of legal and political twists and turns. No one believed that this path was possible, but we hoped for a window of justice and organizational strength. Today is one of those days we have been waiting for. The Islamic Republic will be summoned to the International Court of Justice to tell the truth in detail and be punished.

"We thank the four affected governments for helping us get to this point. We thank them for employing Dr. Payam Akhavan, the former UN Prosecutor, and we ask them to continue to use their knowledge and understanding of the corrupt government of the Islamic Republic and their valuable experience in other international cases to present the case to the Hague Tribunal at the end of the six-month period."

Hamed Esmailiyon dedicated the arrival of this day to the children of the victims on behalf of the families.

This case, as the first case of crimes committed by the Islamic Republic, is being taken to the Hague court on behalf of 176 innocent victims and unborn children.
