Ayatollah Dozduzani Tabrizi: Our youth are becoming atheists, Christians, Baha'is, and Zoroastrians. Why?

"Ayatollah Dozduzani Tabrizi" addressed the missionaries and said: "Our youth are becoming atheists, Christians, Baha'is, and Zoroastrians. Why? And we are doing nothing."

Ayatollah Dozduzani Tabrizi, on the eve of Ramadan, addressed the missionaries in a jurisprudence lesson at the Great Mosque of Qom: "Our youth today are becoming atheists, becoming Baha'is, becoming Christians and Zoroastrians, and perhaps even becoming Sunnis. Why? So either the propaganda is not from us or our propaganda is in a different way that does not have an effect."

Regarding propaganda, its conditions and quality in the present era, and the duty of the people, he said: "Just as during the time of the Messenger of Allah, some of their people and homeland traveled to Medina to learn religious sciences, and after learning, they returned to their people and homeland and explained the things they had learned to their people and homeland, today this duty is also the responsibility of me, you, and the students who come to Qom and Najaf."

"Today, this foundation is my duty and yours, and in these ways I must say that "people no longer accept," it is not accepted and should not be said. In previous years, we sent a large number of missionaries to deprived areas and around Azerbaijan, nearly 500 regions, and this was despite the fact that in the first years there was no reception, but gradually this behavior of the missionaries had an effect and everyone became converted to religion."

Pointing out that inaction and excuses are not acceptable, Ayatollah Tabrizi declared: "Do we, who are the soldiers of the Imam of the Time, accept these excuses and inactions from us? We have abandoned the orphans of the Family of Muhammad in this age of occultation, we make excuses and inactions. Today, our children have problems with monotheism, they have problems and doubts about the Imamate and the will, the Quran, etc. Who should tell them these things? You are young and you see how the enemy operates in these spaces and these virtual spaces. Today, it is my and your duty to speak more in pulpits and gatherings, and in our opinion, the most important topics today are the principles of the Imamiyyah religion. Our youth today are becoming atheists, becoming Baha'is, Christians, Zoroastrians, and perhaps even Sunnis. Why? So either there is no propaganda from us or our propaganda is in a different way that does not have an effect."

Regarding the propagation of religion with good morals and reasonable speech, he continued: "My dears, do not be satisfied with this newspaper, games, and everyday and free talk. These are not faults for me and you who have studied after all these years. Should we not tell people about the Risala and Urwah? Should we not tell people about the virtues of the Imams? Unfortunately, there is no mention of the Imamiyyah rules and beliefs in our pulpits and gatherings. Finally, I advise you, my dears, not to fail in the propagation, which must be with affection, kindness, and gentleness, and in the care of the orphans of the family of Muhammad. May God grant you success in this matter."
