Israel sends warships and submarines to the Red Sea

Israel sent warships and a submarine to the Red Sea following Houthi attacks.
According to Al Arabiya News, the Houthis had attempted to target a number of commercial ships in the Bab al-Mandab Strait with Iranian-made missiles and drones, but were neutralized by Israeli and American warships. Israel also sent a number of warships and a submarine to the Red Sea following these attacks.
The Pentagon also reported an attack on a US warship and several merchant ships in the Red Sea yesterday. Also, according to Reuters, British maritime security company Embry announced that a container ship was damaged by a drone attack about 100 kilometers northwest of the port of Hodeidah in northern Yemen.
It should be noted that the Houthis' attacks on commercial ships and damage to them will increase the prices of goods. A security source also stated in this regard: "Currently, the best solution to the threat to navigation security is to respond to the Houthis and warn Iran."
A Pentagon source also said: "We are aware of reports of attacks on the USS Carney and commercial vessels in the Red Sea."
General Yahya Saree, the Houthi military spokesman, claimed responsibility for the attacks last Sunday night, saying: "Houthi forces have targeted two Israeli ships in Bab al-Mandeb. We will continue to prevent Israeli ships from passing through the Red Sea until Israel stops attacking our brothers in Gaza."
According to him, the first ship was targeted with a naval missile and the second ship with a drone. He also pointed out that the ships ignored warning messages and added: "Once again, we warn Israeli ships or any ships that are in any way connected to Israel that if they violate the statements of our armed forces, they will be considered legitimate targets."
