Bazaars in Zahedan, Chabahar, and other cities in Sistan and Baluchestan went on strike on the anniversary of Zahedan's Bloody Friday.
Today, Saturday, October 8, 1402, coincides with the first anniversary of Bloody Friday in Zahedan, the day when more than a hundred people were killed by bullets from regime forces and more than three hundred were injured in the Mecca Mosque, turning Zahedan into a city of blood.
Yesterday, Friday, October 27, the people of Zahedan took to the streets after Friday prayers to protest and demand the blood of their loved ones and confront the regime. These protests were also held in other cities of Sistan and Baluchestan. Today, October 27, which is the anniversary of the killing of Baloch people, from children to the elderly, in Zahedan, all the marketers and merchants went on strike and closed their shops. Today's marketers' strike is a sign of the protests and the renewed presence of the Baloch people on the streets.
According to the speech of Maulvi Abdul Hamid, Imam of Friday prayers in Zahedan, the people of Balochistan are patient but do not exchange the blood of their loved ones for blood money and do not even complain because they know that not only will justice not be done but their complaint will not be addressed, so they are forced to take the rights of their loved ones. The people of Balochistan are not educated but they have intelligence and are united with each other, which is the secret of Balochistan's victory in unity and solidarity among the people.
