Land prices increase by 132% and housing prices by 80% in Iran

The latest report from the Statistics Center indicates that the selling price of one square meter of land or a residential building in Tehran has increased by 131.7 percent this summer compared to last summer.

Housing prices have also increased by 80.1 percent during the same period, and the average rent plus a three percent deposit paid to rent one square meter of residential infrastructure has also increased by 31.2 percent.

According to the report, which was published on the Statistics Center's website on Saturday, November 14, the selling price of one square meter of land or residential building plot in Kalangi this summer has reached over 18.6 million Tomans, and the price of one square meter of housing has reached about 13.7 million Tomans.

Meanwhile, the number of land and residential building transactions in Kalangi has decreased by more than 55 percent, and the number of housing transactions has decreased by more than 70 percent compared to last summer.

The average rent plus a three percent deposit for renting one square meter of residential infrastructure with an average area of ​​82 square meters and an average building life of 14 years is also stated in this report to be around 43,500 Tomans.
