Government agents threw a sound bomb into Daniel's car and then the bomb exploded, blinding him.

Since the beginning of the protests and popular revolution, we have witnessed repression, killings, executions, blindness, and many other crimes committed by the regime against the Iranian people. Many loved ones lost their sight by being shot directly in the face and eyes.

Over the past several months, regime forces have shot women in the face, head, and genitals, as well as fired numerous shotgun pellets at men, not only destroying their eyesight and beauty, but also overshadowing their entire lives.

More crimes by the Islamic Republic are being revealed every day. Many loved ones lost their eyes to gunshots, but images published on social media and quoted by Iran Wire have recently revealed another crime by the regime, and now another loved one has lost their eyes to a sound bomb explosion.

Daniyal, 48, whose identity is being withheld for security reasons, lost his eyes in December 2012 due to regime attacks following protests. Not only did he lose his eyes and his job, but the lives of his wife, mother, children, and entire family were affected by this crime.

On one of the nights of the draft in December 1402, Daniyal was stopped at a red light in his car. Daniyal was behind the wheel and a friend was sitting next to him. The darkness and the crowd shouting slogans against the regime prompted the drivers to honk their horns in protest.

Daniel says: "We were in lane one and the armed forces were shooting people with shotguns. It was very busy and the officers were sometimes pointing their guns at the cars and targeting the cars in lane one and smashing the windows of the cars. I moved the car to lane three and was passing the green light when suddenly a sound bomb was thrown at us. The driver's side window broke and the bomb fell into the car and exploded right under the mirror.

"It was a horrific scene, my head and face were covered in blood as the glass broke, and the explosion of the sound bomb caused severe damage to my eyes."

The situation of Daniyal and others like him is just a small part of the regime’s crimes, many of which remain hidden due to the regime’s threats to its families, as if the regime does not know that time will reveal everything, as it has already done. All these crimes only bring the fall of the Islamic Republic regime closer.

It should be noted that Daniel's eyelids are still closed after the transplant surgery, and his vision status is still not fully known.
