Iran requests Interpol to arrest Donald Trump

Iran's judiciary announced that it has sent the files of 48 people to Interpol in connection with the killing of Qassem Soleimani. According to a spokesperson for the judiciary, these people, including US President Donald Trump, played a role in the killing of Qassem Soleimani.

Gholamhossein Esmaili, spokesman for the Iranian judiciary, announced in a press conference on Tuesday, January 5, that the case of US President Donald Trump and Pentagon commanders and officials has been sent to Interpol.

The Judiciary Spokesperson said that the case related to the killing of Qassem Soleimani and his companions has been filed in the Special Prosecutor's Office for International Affairs in Tehran since the first days of the incident, and that Iran is seriously pursuing the matter.

Esmaili added that some countries have provided Iran with "good documents" related to the case of the killing of Soleimani and his companions.

The country's judicial official did not provide further details about which countries Iran received these "good documents." However, he said that good cooperation has been established with Iraq on the international front and that the head of Iran's judiciary has contacted the head of the Iraqi Judicial Council.

He emphasized: "Each of the agents, 48 people, from the US President, who was the main perpetrator of the assassination, to various commanders and officials, were identified. A red notice was issued and sent to the international police, stating what role each of them played in this crime."

Interpol was founded in 1923. It currently has 194 member countries and is headquartered in Lyon, France. The organization's red notices include people who have committed crimes and fled to other countries and are under international surveillance.

The spokesman for the Iranian judiciary also emphasized that "Iranian citizens who have been harmed by American actions" can file lawsuits in the courts of the Islamic Republic and in the Tehran Justice Department.
