Lack of information about Hossein Hosseinpour's condition after contact from the IRGC's Ministry of Intelligence
Hossein Hosseinpour's family has no information about his condition after being contacted by the IRGC's Ministry of Intelligence.
On his personal pages, he called on the people of Shiraz to gather in front of Khalili Hospital on Sunday, May 14, so that the hospital can give a convincing answer to cancel his eye surgery.
On Monday, May 15, Hossein Hosseinpour posted on his Twitter page that he had been contacted by the hospital and given the date of his hospitalization and the date of his surgery, and that the reason for canceling the previous surgery date was due to a child's urgent eye surgery.
But hours after the publication of the aforementioned post, Mujadid Hossein Hosseinpour announced on his Instagram page that he had been contacted by the IRGC Intelligence Ministry and summoned to this center. He announced in his story that he was on his way to the IRGC Intelligence Ministry in Shiraz, Fars Province.
Since Hussein's departure to the Ministry of Intelligence, there has been no information available on his status or whereabouts.
Before going to the intelligence service, Hussein informed people of his departure so that they would know which center he had been summoned to if anything happened to him.
People reacted to the IRGC's action and posted "#WhereIsHosseinHosseinPour" to show their concern for the protester's health and life. They also expressed their solidarity and unity with HosseinPour's family.
