Statement by the Free Workers Union: A great storm of fundamental changes is coming to the country.

The Free Workers Union issued a statement on the anniversary of the uprising of the People's Revolution, announcing a great storm of fundamental changes in the country.

As September 15, the anniversary of the government assassination of Mahsa Amini, approaches, the beginning of the popular revolution, the fall of those who supported the regime, and its collapse from within have weakened the position of the government and its agents in front of the Iranian people. The upcoming uprising on the occasion of the anniversary of the popular revolution is an uprising for a great revolution that has continued to advance powerfully in the face of government repression.

The "Women, Life, Freedom" uprising, which began with the killing of Mahsa, had a great impact on the socio-political society, bringing together all strata of society, including teachers, university professors, students, doctors, lawyers, workers, retirees, etc., and this unity has created a great barrier to the regime's fabricated scenarios.

Various statements have been issued by lawyers, professors, doctors, etc. regarding this revolution and the regime's repressions, but now the working class has also joined them. The Free Workers' Union, approaching the anniversary of the People's Revolution, also issued a statement with the following content: "As far as the government is concerned, this government is no longer capable of managing any aspect of the economic, political, social, and cultural life of a society of ninety million people. In addition to its anti-freedom, tyrannical, and extreme misogyny nature, this government has turned one of the richest countries in the world into such a scorched earth that poverty and misery, depression, suicide, and despair, child labor, garbage collection, hunger and malnutrition in the tens of millions, crime, and a thousand and one social anomalies resulting from extreme economic insecurity have become its main features.

The country's economy has practically collapsed in a deadly whirlpool of endless and constantly intensifying economic crises, and millions of unemployed young people have become refugees in different countries of the world in search of a glimmer of happiness and survival, risking their lives. The salaries of millions of workers, teachers, employees, retirees, and every hard-working wage earner are several times below the poverty line and the living cost basket declared by the government's own hand-made institutions. The pension funds of teachers, workers, and people's property in financial institutions have been looted by government agents and mercenaries. The country's industries, agriculture, and environment have been destroyed, and in a word, everything related to the sustainability and survival of the social life of a society full of wealth and dazzling opportunities is burning and destroying.

The people have decreed fundamental changes in the country with the uprising of the "Women of Freedom". They have the right to take to the streets and not want the existing government. Protesting and not wanting a government is the most obvious right of the people.

The government's confusion in expanding the scope of repression and resorting to the most criminal and vile forms of dealing with protesting people, women and youth, political prisoners, and the families of the victims of the "Women of Freedom" uprising in the days leading up to the anniversary of the uprising is nothing more than a demonstration of the desperation and helplessness of an authoritarian and medieval government in the face of a modern and freedom-loving people who have risen up.

"A great storm of fundamental changes is coming to the country, despite every degree of deception, vileness, and oppression by the government. In the meantime, the Iranian working class, in the continuation of the "Women for a Life of Freedom" movement and the decisive battle that is underway to end the current inhumane situation and shape the future of the country, will stand alongside the women and revolutionary youth, fighting and leading the way in establishing a free, equal, happy, and prosperous society."

Long live the "Women Live Freedom" movement, long live freedom and equality.
