More than 100 teenagers arrested during November protests have been transferred to correctional facilities.

116 people arrested during the recent popular protests in Iran were transferred to the "Reform and Training Center" prisons, which are reserved for criminals under the age of 18.
The Iranian Center for Human Rights Defenders published this news on Wednesday, January 25, citing a Telegram channel active in the field of IRGC propaganda on social networks.
The Iranian Center for Human Rights Defenders further wrote that with the publication of this news, concerns have increased about the conditions of detention of detained children, and educational experts and human rights activists say that keeping these children alongside criminal prisoners will have many unfortunate consequences.
In this report, this human rights organization, referring to Nikta Esfandani, one of the victims of the November protests who has become a symbol of children under the age of 18 killed by security forces, says that various human rights sources have previously announced in their statistics that at least 20 children between the ages of 14 and 18 have lost their lives in the recent protests.
In its latest report, Reuters reported that the death toll in the Iranian protests was 1,500, citing three sources close to the leader of the Islamic Republic, who said Khamenei had ordered government and security officials to do "whatever is necessary" to stop the protests.
Brian Hook, the US Special Representative for Iran at the US State Department, said in his initial response to the Reuters investigative report that the international community must punish the perpetrators of this massacre and isolate the regime.
On December 19, the US Secretary of State also referred to widespread human rights violations in Iran regarding the human rights situation in Iran.
Referring to one of the victims of the popular protests, Pouya Bakhtiari, Mike Pompeo said that she, who had gone to the demonstrations with her mother to achieve a better life, was killed by security forces. But her ideals, including the freedom of the Iranian people, still live on.
President Donald Trump also reacted once again to the Iranian government's treatment of protesters on Tuesday, December 1, and said on the sidelines of a NATO summit: "It is very unfortunate that protesters in Iran were killed simply because they were protesting."
On the sidelines of this gathering, the US President repeatedly mentioned the issue of Iranian protesters and America's support for the Iranian people, saying: "The protesters in Iran are seeking freedom, and we fully support them."
