In some videos, it is clear that the protesters are chanting: "The silence of every Iranian is a betrayal of Iran" and "Khamenei, have some shame, abandon your country."

Reports indicate that police forces clashed with protesters and people burned several tires in the streets.

At the beginning of the march, officers warned people not to go any further, but images showed that protesters ignored the police warning.

The first day of protest demonstrations in Isfahan's New Shapur

On Tuesday, reports and videos sent to Voice of America showed demonstrations by several thousand people in the Shapur Jadid area of Isfahan.

These protesters, who are protesting against the price increases in recent months as well as the power outages in the region during the hot summer season, demonstrated and chanted slogans against the authorities of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

In the submitted videos, groups of people and shopkeepers are seen closing their shops and joining the protesters.

In some of the released videos, protesters have criticized Iranian officials and their policies, chanting slogans such as "No Gaza, no Lebanon, I will sacrifice my life for Iran."

Some protesters also held placards that read, "A market with zeal for support." As in recent months' demonstrations, protesters chanted the slogan "May your soul rest in peace Reza Shah Pahlavi."

In recent days, the value of one US dollar has reached about 12,000 Tomans in the unofficial market. The Rouhani government's efforts to control the value of the dollar have failed.

This comes as President Trump reimposes the first round of Iran nuclear sanctions in a few days, targeting Iran's oil and gas market.
