EU maintains missile sanctions against the Islamic Republic

The European Union will maintain and extend missile sanctions against the Islamic Republic.
According to four European Union diplomatic sources informing the Islamic Republic, sanctions related to Iran's ballistic missiles, which were supposed to be lifted on October 16, 1402, according to the JCPOA, will be extended again.
According to a Reuters report on Wednesday, July 27, the reason for extending missile sanctions against the Islamic Republic was three main reasons. The main reasons for extending these sanctions are: Russia's use of drones made by the Islamic Republic against Ukraine, the possibility of transferring Iranian ballistic missiles to Russia, and depriving Iran of the benefits of the nuclear deal.
The maintenance of EU sanctions reflects the West's efforts to prevent Iran from producing nuclear weapons, as the Islamic Republic violated the JCPOA and, in exchange for the lifting of economic sanctions, was supposed to stop acquiring fissile materials for making bombs, but increased the enrichment of uranium to 60 percent, which, according to the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency, has no civilian justification.
It should be noted that nuclear weapons experts have estimated that the Iranian regime's progress in the nuclear field is such that it is only 12 days away from the time of the decision to obtain fissile material.
