IRGC missile attack on Iraqi Kurdistan

Since last night, the Revolutionary Guards have launched missile and drone attacks on positions of the Kurdistan Democratic Party of Iran, with three missiles hitting the Iraqi Kurdistan Region.
Following widespread protests in Iran, especially in Kurdish cities, the Islamic Republic of Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps launched missile and drone attacks on positions in Iranian Kurdistan to distract the public. Three missiles also hit the Iraqi Kurdistan region in these missile attacks.
Mr. Khaled Azizi, spokesman for the Kurdistan Democratic Party, also said: "The goal of the Islamic Republic's Revolutionary Guard Corps with this attack is to announce to the Iranian people, especially the people of Kurdistan, that these crises inside Iran, the demonstrations and this general revolutionary uprising that has begun for more than two months, and this very broad solidarity that exists between the people of Kurdistan and the rest of the people of Iran, are fabricated and created by foreign factors outside Iran's borders."
These attacks by the IRGC, which have been repeated several times in the past, have also prompted a reaction from the US Central Command.
The Kurdistan Democratic Party of Iran also condemned these attacks and announced in a statement: "These indiscriminate attacks have taken place while the government of the Islamic Republic is unable to stop the ongoing demonstrations in Kurdistan."
The attack by the Revolutionary Guards came as protests by the Iranian people continue. In particular, the Kurdish cities of Mahabad, Javanrud, and Piranshahr are in a red state. According to popular reports, today, December 2, 2019, 5 war helicopters were seen approaching Javanrud from the direction of Kermanshah. It is believed that the attack that was carried out by helicopter on the city of Zahedan and the people were shot down is being repeated for Javanrud.
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, expressing concern about the escalation of violence against protesters in Iran, especially Mahabad, said on his Twitter account: "The country seeks to hold those responsible for the violence accountable and continues to support the Iranian people."
The people of Kurdish cities in Iran declared that we will not be distracted by these terrorist missile attacks by the Islamic Republic of Iran. After this, we will answer bullets with bullets. The people of Kurdistan will give their blood but not their soil.
