Death sentence for 15 young lovers

Death sentences were issued for 15 young people who were arrested during nationwide protests.

The Islamic Republic government has so far issued death sentences to many of those arrested during nationwide protests for the crimes of "moharebeh" and "corruption on earth."

Another bitter incident that has been published on social media is the news of the death sentences of a number of teenagers and young people. While human rights organizations and experts are expressing concern about issuing death sentences to protesters in Iran, 15 young people arrested during the nationwide protests were tried on December 29 at the First Branch of the Karaj Revolutionary Court. These 15 people have been charged with the crimes of “corruption on earth” and “attacking Faraj and Basij officers,” which carry the death penalty according to the laws of the Islamic Republic. They were also deprived of having a lawyer of their choice. It should be noted that 3 of them are 17 years old.

The people of Iran have announced their protest against this verdict by publishing their names. Let us be their voices to prevent the verdict from being carried out and support these young people named "Reza Arya, Mohammad Mehdi Karami, Arian Farzamnia, Farzaneh Gharahasanloo, Hamid Gharahasanloo, Ali Moazami Goudarzi, Behrad Ali Kenari, Reza Shaker Zavardehi, Javad Zargaran, Amir Mehdi Jafari, Amin Mehdi Shokrollahi, Shayan Charani, Mohammad Amin Akhlaqi, Seyyed Mohammad Hosseini, Mehdi Mohammadi."

Can the nationwide protests that will be held on December 4, 5, and 6 following the three-day call, as well as the fact-finding team's follow-up on the situation and events in Iran, break the death sentences that have been issued to many of the detainees?
