Suicide of two children aged 12 and 15 in Piranshahr and Javanrud

HRANA News Agency – A 12-year-old child from the village of Kohneh Lahijan in Piranshahr County committed suicide and lost his life. In a similar incident, on Sunday, July 16, a 15-year-old teenager in Javanrud committed suicide by hanging himself and died.

According to HRANA news agency, citing Kurdpa, on Monday, July 17, 1402, a 12-year-old child in Piranshahr city ended his life by attempting suicide.

The child has been identified as Kani Amin Ashayeri, the son of Tayeb and a native of the village of Kohneh Lahijan, Piranshahr County, West Azerbaijan Province. This child also took this action due to family problems.

According to this report, on Sunday, July 16, 1402, a 15-year-old child in Javanrud committed suicide by hanging himself and died. The identity of this child has been confirmed as Rojan Safari, the son of Taher from the village of Kolse, a resident of Javanrud city in Kermanshah province. This child also ended his life by hanging himself due to family problems.

The Iranian Forensic Medicine Organization has announced that the share of Iranian teenagers in annual suicides is more than 7%.
