A mother and her four-year-old child were arrested by Ilam intelligence; "There is no information about their fate"

The human rights website "Hengao" reported on Monday, November 23 that a month has passed since the arrest of a four-year-old child and his mother by security forces in Ilam, and there is no information about their fate.
The site said that the mother and child were arrested at the border of Mehran County while returning from the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
The woman's identity has been identified as 40-year-old Mitra Taghipour and her four-year-old son as Mehrsam Rasouli.
An informed source told this human rights website that despite the continuous follow-up efforts of the Rasouli and Taghipour families, the whereabouts and fate of the mother and child, who were handed over from Ilam intelligence to Isfahan intelligence on Monday, October 1, are still unknown, and this has led to their concern.
Ms. Taghipour has a master's degree in Persian literature and lives in Isfahan. According to Hengaw, a relative of the family, "Mitra and her child were interrogated for eight days at the Ilam Intelligence Center during the day and transferred to the city's central prison at night."
Security and judicial authorities of the Islamic Republic of Iran have not yet commented on this news.
Hengaw added: "Ilam intelligence informed Taghipour's family of his arrest via phone call, but after his wife's family went to Ilam, they were told that Mitra Taghipour had been here for eight days and was subsequently handed over to the Isfahan IRGC intelligence."
According to Mitra's wife, who is from Saqqez and lives in the Kurdistan Region, her family "has requested several times over the past month, along with Mitra's family, to hand over the four-year-old child to them, but so far no institution has responded."
