Suicide of an 11-year-old teenager in Tehran

On Sunday, April 12, an 11-year-old girl in Tehran committed suicide by hanging herself. The Iranian Forensic Medicine Organization has stated that the share of Iranian teenagers in annual suicides is more than 7 percent.
According to HRANA news agency, citing Rokna, on Sunday, April 12, 1402, a teenage girl in Tehran attempted suicide by hanging herself and died.
According to the report, the incident occurred when the girl's mother had left the house and she was alone at home with her sister.
Her 14-year-old sister told officers: "I was busy on my cell phone when I realized that there was no sound from my sister. Suddenly, I saw that she had hung herself on the door frame with a towel strap."
The exact cause of suicide is still unknown and the body was sent to the forensics department for necessary examinations.
The Forensic Medicine Organization has stated that the share of Iranian teenagers in annual suicides is more than 7%.
