Shiraz Faculty of Medical Sciences in the Iron Fence

The Shiraz Faculty of Medical Sciences was surrounded by iron sheets.

The start of nationwide protests in Iran sparked a massive wave of popular uprising, especially among university students and professors. Not only were many students banned from studying and expelled from universities, but many professors who had issued statements supporting the revolutionary uprising were also removed or banned from teaching. The group that most instills fear in the government and its agents is the students. Students, who were always talked about as the future builders of the country, have now become the source of terror for the regime.

On the eve of the anniversary of the "Women, Life, Freedom" uprising, a user has posted a video on social media showing the Shiraz Faculty of Medical Sciences being surrounded by iron sheets. The Islamic Republic government, terrified by student protests, has taken the step of fencing the Shiraz Faculty of Medical Sciences with iron sheets. This action by the regime heralds the victory of the popular revolutionary uprising and the overthrow of the Islamic regime.

Social media users reacted to this clumsy move and declared: “There is undoubtedly a huge tsunami of anger coming from all sections of the people.” Victory belongs to the Iranian people. The fact that the regime has fenced off the college with iron sheets out of fear of student protests means that it clearly sees its own demise and is taking clumsy measures to survive, unaware that the Iranian people have lost their minds and that the fear they had of the regime in the past has now collapsed and given way to unity, courage, solidarity, and hope for victory.

It is expected that the regime's agents will take this action against the faculty and other universities by the anniversary of the popular uprising. But these reactions to the protests of people across Iran show the last gasps of the Islamic Republic's government.
