Mohseni Ejei's electoral instructions to judicial officials

Judiciary Chief Mohseni Ejei announced instructions to judicial officials for holding the upcoming elections.

Gholamhossein Mohseni-Ejei, the head of the judiciary, delivered a speech at the meeting of the Supreme Council of the Judiciary on Monday, March 27, regarding the March 11 elections and issued instructions to all judicial officials and officials.

He began his speech by congratulating the birth of the Holy Prophet and the Day of the Unknown Soldier, and stated: "The celebration of the blessed birth of the Holy Prophet, Baqiyatullah al-Azam, was held, as always, with complete security and splendor in various parts of Islamic Iran. For this, we thank God and we appreciate all the security forces, especially the Unknown Soldiers in the Ministry of Intelligence and other security agencies, including the IRGC Intelligence, Faraj, and Basij, who are constantly striving day and night to strengthen the security of the citizens of Islamic Iran. In recent weeks, the enemy has also made great efforts to create insecurity in the country, which were thwarted by the efforts of the Unknown Soldiers and all security departments."

In his speech, he referred to March 11, which is the day of the elections for the sixth term of the Assembly of Experts and the twelfth term of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, and while considering these two elections important and sensitive, he added: "I order all judicial officials and officials throughout the country to take all necessary measures to help ensure the safety and security of the March 11 elections and to cooperate fully with the relevant departments in various institutions, including the Ministry of Interior, election observers, the Federal Election Commission, and the security forces. Also, until election day, judges on duty and on duty in the relevant judicial branches should be constantly present, and upon receipt of a report indicating the occurrence of an electoral violation or crime, the relevant judicial authority should quickly enter the matter and not let time pass and the negative effects of the crime remain in society. If the matter is preventable, the necessary measures should be taken in cooperation with the Deputy for Crime Prevention of the Judiciary."

Referring to different groups in society, he stated: "All parties, political groups, minorities, and different segments of the people with different tastes and attitudes are ready to hold a glorious election. Meanwhile, our enemies have made every effort to seize the stage and prevent a decent election from being held. Some unaware elements are also willingly or unwillingly collaborating with the enemy and pumping out false insinuations. Of course, our insightful and religious people will certainly not be influenced by these false insinuations and will once again celebrate the celebration of religious democracy by attending the ballot boxes on the 11th of Esfand."
