The Revolutionary Guards announced the arrest of Christian missionaries.

The Intelligence Organization of the Seyyed al-Shohada Corps in Tehran Province announced a crackdown on what it called a “Christian evangelical propaganda network” in the cities of Tehran, Rey, and Pardis. The organization claimed to have arrested a number of suspects in this connection.
According to Mehr, the Intelligence Organization of the Imam Sayyid al-Shohada Corps in Tehran Province claimed on Tuesday morning that “through a series of intelligence operations, a vast network that, under the pretext of propagating and promoting evangelical Christianity and house churches, was attempting to destroy Abrahamic religions and disturb public minds and distort minds in the public and virtual space, was identified and dismantled in the cities of Tehran, Rey, and Pardis.”
The Intelligence Organization of the IRGC emphasized: "In this regard, a number of suspects were arrested along with the discovered documents and evidence and handed over to judicial review."
The organization did not provide further information about the number and identities of those arrested.
It is worth noting that, despite recognizing Christianity as a religion in the constitution, the Iranian government is making great efforts to combat the conversion of citizens to this religion and the activities of activists of this religion.
