The 36th session of Hamid Nouri's trial; the paralyzed prisoner jumped like a bird and went to the execution site

The 36th trial session of Hamid Nouri was held on Thursday, November 10, 1402 in the city of Durres, Albania, with the testimony of Majid Sahib Jam Atabaki, one of the witnesses in the case and a member of the People's Mojahedin Organization.
Thirty-four sessions of the trial, excluding extraordinary sessions, were held in Stockholm, Sweden. According to a pre-arranged schedule, the thirty-fifth to forty-first sessions of the trial will be held in Albania, where seven of the witnesses in the case are based, instead of Stockholm.
Majid Saheb Jame Atabaki was arrested in September 1982 on charges of supporting the People's Mojahedin Organization and sentenced to 12 years in prison in a three-minute trial presided over by Ali Nayiri in 1983. Two years later, upon receiving new information about him, another court sentenced him to 12 years in prison, which would start again from 1986 onwards.
In February 1987, Shahed was transferred to Gohardasht Prison while on strike and protesting the conditions of Evin Prison with a group of about two hundred people. Upon arrival, they were severely beaten by the IRGC in the so-called “Tunnel of Death” with cables, wood, and other objects.
Majid said that in 1982 and 1983, he had seen Hamid Nouri many times in halls one and six of Evin Prison, known as the “Education Hall,” where he worked as an ordinary guard. He said that the Friday prayer sermons on August 27 and 28 determined our future. Nayyari had entered the prison, and the news was reporting executions on August 28 and 29.
According to him, the then head of the Supreme Judicial Council said in Friday prayer sermons, "I can't take it anymore. They've been pressuring me to explain why these prisoners are alive. We will no longer oppose the people when they tell us to execute these Mujahideen prisoners."
The witness explained that they heard the sermons over the loud volume of radios belonging to the Revolutionary Guards. The witness requested that the sermons be recorded as evidence in court.
In the thirty-sixth court session, the names of many executed prisoners were read out.
Majid Saheb Jame Atabaki was first taken to death row on August 5th and then stood before the death squad consisting of Nayiri, Ishraqi, Shushtari and Pourmohammadi. He later wrote a letter of disgust against the MEK on death row. It was here that he first saw Hamid Nouri, holding a list and leading the so-called "leaders" to the execution site.
The witness said that one of the most painful scenes involved Mohsen Mohammad Bagher, who was paralyzed in both legs and had acted in a famous film as a child due to the same problem. The film was also shown at the Swedish festival. The witness said that on August 13, Mohsen Mohammad Bagher was called in front of his eyes. The witness said that he jumped like a bird with two canes and went to the place of execution.
The witness was called again on August 11 and placed before the death squad. That day, he again saw Hamid Nouri, who called out the names of many prisoners he knew and led them to the place of execution.
Majid Saheb Jame Atabaki was returned to Evin Prison along with Naserian and Hamid Nouri after the executions in February 2018. He witnessed Hamid Nouri working there with similar responsibilities to his responsibilities in Gohardasht Prison.
Shahid spent a total of seventeen years in various prisons from 1961 to 1978 before being released. He later joined the People's Mojahedin Organization and is currently stationed at Camp Ashraf 3 in Albania.
