Four Afghan Christians martyred in Kabul

According to a report from the Persian-language Christian News Network's special correspondent in Kabul, 255 people have lost their lives so far during the explosion on Saturday, July 23.

The explosion took place at a gathering of protesters protesting the transfer of a 500-megawatt power line from Turkmenistan to Afghanistan via the Salang Pass, known as the Enlightenment Movement.
The protesters planned to march towards the presidential palace and set up tents to hold a sit-in until their demands were met. Eyewitnesses said that three attackers had planned a suicide attack, two of whom blew themselves up among the demonstrators. Another was shot and killed by police. The ISIS terrorist group claimed responsibility for the explosion.

Among the dead were three brothers and one sister from the Kabul church. The report states that the dead from the Kabul church were between 22 and 25 years old.

The report states that among the dead and injured are a large number of Kabul University students who had arrived at the university from other cities.

After visiting the injured in the explosion, a news network reporter announced that with the help of volunteers, the problem of blood shortage in hospitals had been resolved, but the great need for medicine in Kabul hospitals was evident, leading to people seeking profit.

The Persian-language Christian News Network, while expressing sympathy with the believers in Afghanistan, earnestly prays to God the Father for the liberation of the people and country of Afghanistan.

To maintain the security of Kabul churches, this network refrains from mentioning the names and other details of the martyrs of the Kabul church.
