Lindsey Graham: We need to go after Iran's refineries and oil infrastructure
Lindsey Graham, in response to Hamas' attack on Israel, wrote that Iran's oil refineries and infrastructure should be targeted.
According to the Wall Street Journal, the IRGC, Hamas, and Hezbollah have held several meetings in Beirut since August to plan and prepare for an attack on Israel. The meetings were attended by Ismail Ghaani, commander of the IRGC’s Quds Force, Hezbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah, Islamic Jihad Secretary General Ziad Nakhaleh, and Hamas’ deputy political director Saleh al-Arouri.
According to statements by Lebanon's Hezbollah and quoting senior Hamas members, the Revolutionary Guard has been assisting Hamas in planning a land, air, and naval attack on Israel since the meetings, and gave the green light for these attacks during a meeting in Beirut last week on October 1.
According to Wall Street reports, the review and work on the details of Hamas attacks was conducted in numerous meetings in the Lebanese capital, Beirut, with the presence of IRGC officers and representatives of four militia groups supported by the Islamic Republic.
Following the events that have occurred since Saturday, October 7, and the reactions of many officials in powerful countries, US Republican Senator Lindsey Graham also published a text in response to the Islamic Republic's role in Hamas' attacks on Israel and the interventions of the Lebanese terrorist group Hezbollah, saying: "In the event of an attack by Lebanese Hezbollah and other proxy groups of the Islamic Republic, Israel and the United States should go after the refineries and oil infrastructure that are the lifeblood of Iran's economy."
The Israeli Air Force also attacked a Hamas ammunition depot in Gaza this morning, October 9, in response to Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf's statement that "the Israelis thought that no more fire would erupt from Gaza and lived by this belief, but they saw what happened," and blew it up, igniting a huge fire in Gaza. Also, many people were killed and injured in Gaza as a result of the Israeli warplanes' attacks this morning.
