Mohsen Shekari was executed in silence.

Mohsen Shekari is one of the protesters who injured a Basij officer on Sattar Khan Street on October 22, 2022. He was executed this morning, December 7, in silence.

According to Mizan News Agency – the media outlet of the judiciary – the initial verdict in the case of one of the rioters was issued not long ago. According to the verdict issued by the Revolutionary Court of Tehran, Mohsen Shekari was sentenced to death on charges of war by drawing a weapon with the intention of killing, creating terror and deprivation of freedom and security of the people, as well as intentionally wounding a Basij officer with a cold weapon while on duty, blocking Sattar Khan Street in Tehran, and disrupting public order and security.

Mohsen Shekari, son of Massoud, was hanged with a rope around his neck this morning after the morning prayer and executed in silence for the crimes he had been accused of by the Islamic Republic government.
