"Tomaj Salehi" sentenced to six years and three months in prison

Rapper Tomaj Salehi was sentenced to six years and three months in prison on charges of "corruption on earth."
According to "Reza Etemad Ansari", one of Tomaj Salehi's lawyers, today, Monday, July 9, 2020, announced that, based on the court's notification, Tomaj Salehi was sentenced to six years and three months in prison on charges of corruption on earth.
He also continued regarding the sentence issued against him: "Based on the ruling, only the most severe punishment will be imposed on Tomaj, which is six years and three months in prison, including the current period of detention. He was also acquitted of the charges of insulting the founder of the revolution and the leadership, and of having ties to hostile states."
According to Ms. Ansari, Tomaje's lawyer, he was transferred from solitary confinement to the general ward of the prison today. He has been in solitary confinement since his arrest and has only been able to meet with his lawyers for half an hour during his eight months of detention.
Regarding the additional punishments against Tomaj, Ms. Etemadi said: "He will be banned from leaving for 2 years from the date the aforementioned sentence becomes final, and his passport will be revoked. Mr. Salehi will also be banned from any activity, preparation, and production of musical and singing works for 2 years. Another clause of the issued sentence included his attendance for 2 years in behavior management and knowledge skills courses held by the Social and Crime Prevention Department of the Isfahan Prosecutor's Office, which is mandatory. Tomaj Salehi must submit a certificate of completion of these classes to the Criminal Sentences Enforcement Unit."
