More than 11,000 people die annually due to air pollution in Iran.

The head of the Air Health and Climate Change Group of the Ministry of Health said: 11,000 deaths in Iran annually are attributed to air pollution, and 8.9 percent of natural deaths also occur due to air pollution.
He added: Studies show that the cause of death in 6.5% of heart attacks, 8% of strokes, and 11% of lung cancer is due to air pollution.
Also, we have 486,682 years of life lost annually due to air pollution, which should be taken seriously, and $5.7 billion in premature deaths are attributed to air pollution annually; therefore, the Ministry of Environment and the Ministry of Petroleum must end their game because the Ministry of Environment says that the fuel produced is not of standard, while the Ministry of Petroleum believes that the vehicles produced are not of standard.
