Dr. Masoud Olia and Dr. Amir Maziar banned from teaching

Two university professors, Dr. Masoud Olia and Dr. Amir Maziar, were banned from teaching at the University of Arts.

The University of Arts removed Dr. Masoud Olia and Dr. Amir Maziar from the upcoming semester's course schedule in the philosophy department and banned them from teaching, and the courses they taught were assigned to other professors. It should be noted that Masoud Olia and Amir Maziar were among the signatories of the professors' statement protesting the widespread arrest of students.

Specialized and experienced university professors are being removed one after another and their responsibilities are being transferred to non-specialists. The government of the Islamic Republic of Iran is finding individuals, including students, university professors, teachers, lawyers, doctors, ordinary people, etc., who have reacted to the protests and come out in support of each other as criminals, accusing and punishing them under various headings.

Lawyers who represent protesters, activists who oppose the Islamic Republic government, doctors who treat injured protesters for free, etc. are all among those whom the regime fears and not only prevents them from continuing their activities that go against the regime's laws, but also punishes and bans them from working.
