Father of one of the victims of the Ukrainian flight: The Ministry of Intelligence has asked the families not to speak against the Islamic Republic

After the Association of Families of the Victims of Flight PS 752 announced that the families were being harassed and the Islamic Republic of Iran's security forces were pressuring them to stop pursuing the case and seeking legal action, Mehrzad Zarei provided more details to VOA.
Mehrzad Zarei, who lost his young son Arad Zarei after the IRGC fired a missile at a Ukrainian passenger flight, says that the Islamic Republic's Ministry of Intelligence has summoned a number of the victims' families who live in Iran and asked them to pledge not to make comments against the Islamic Republic.
On Tuesday, the Fars news agency, close to the Revolutionary Guards, quoted Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Mohsen Baharvand as saying that he had told officials at the International Civil Aviation Organization that a number of families of those killed in the Ukrainian plane crash had received compensation.
This comes as Mehrzad Zarei says the Ministry of Intelligence is asking the families of the victims not to attend the rally. He said officials are telling the families, "Come on, we want to pay your compensation," but "we will not back down" from seeking justice.
