According to reports from people in the Kurdish cities of Mahabad, Javanrud, and Piranshahr in Iran, the situation is so bad that the bodies of people killed by security forces are being buried in their homes.  

According to reports from the people of Mahabad, during the massive massacre that took place in the city due to nationwide protests, the people of Mahabad were forced to bury the bodies of their loved ones in their homes due to fear of their friends and loved ones being stolen, and also due to threats from government forces to bury them. According to the people of Mahabad, the security forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran have massacred the people of Mahabad, but unfortunately, due to various issues, there is no opportunity for film or photos and information about the number of dead.

The people of Mahabad announced that the security forces are massacring people, but we only have stones in our hands to defend ourselves. Another point is that the people of this city cannot even walk easily in their homes and are forced to move around in their houses on their chests, because the security forces are shooting at the houses with live ammunition.

The people of Mahabad announced that the situation is out of security during the day, but martial law is in effect at night. They have set up checkpoints at gas stations, at the entrance and exit of the city, and plainclothes officers, each of whom is responsible for inspecting a specific item, are inspecting all belongings, mobile phones, and cars, and are looking for an excuse to arrest people. Another point is that for some time now, in the middle of the night, they have been attacking houses to create fear and panic, breaking everything, and taking young people from their homes for no reason. Also, as families search for their loved ones, they are not giving any information about where they are being transferred to.

The economic situation in these cities is also very affecting. The loss of jobs and lack of income have severely affected families.

The people of Mahabad announced that unfortunately this has always been our lot, but we Kurds are Iranians and our motto is humanity, unity, and fighting against oppression. We are confident that we will celebrate freedom because our lives are in the palm of our hands and we will stand until the last drop of our blood.
