Four Christians from Dezful were arrested.

With the simultaneous arrest of four Christians in the city of Dezful, a new wave of security pressure on religious minorities, especially Christians, has begun in Iran.
According to a reporter from the Persian-language Christian News Network, Ali Varksha, Hojat Lotfi Khalaf, Esmail Narimanpour, and Mohammad Ali Torabi were arrested on Monday morning, April 20, following a raid by security officers on their homes.
Security officers also confiscated mobile phones after searching homes.
A reporter for the Persian-language Christian News Network spoke with Pastor Noorallah Qobitizadeh. Pastor Noorallah stated that on Monday, April 20, 1402, at around 7:30 AM, agents from the Ministry of Intelligence raided the homes of four believers in Christ in the city of Dezful, named Ali Varksha, Hojjat Lotfi Halaf, Esmail Narimanpour, and Mohammad Ali Torabi.
He added that Mohammad Ali Torabi had been arrested by the Ministry of Intelligence three years ago and released on bail. Pastor Noorallah further stated that Mohammad Ali Torabi's 2-year-old daughter had contracted the coronavirus, and in these difficult circumstances, this arrest has added to the concerns of the family.
The Christian organization "Open Doors" has announced in its annual report on Christians in 50 countries that the Islamic Republic of Iran is the eighth most anti-Christian country in the world.
The report continues that underground churches are often attacked, their leaders and members are arrested, and they are sentenced to long prison terms on charges of acting against national security.
