Greek Orthodox Church: Muslims and Christians are being slaughtered in Palestine
The Greek Orthodox Church priest emphatically declared that Muslims and Christians are being slaughtered in Palestine.
Following the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas in the Gaza Strip, Greek Orthodox priest Elias Awad announced that Muslims and Christians in Palestine, especially in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, are being slaughtered and massacred.
Elias Awad, while calling for an end to this massacre, called on world authorities to take the necessary measures to stop the war in Gaza.
He added in his speech: "The Palestinian people, whether Christian or Muslim, are one. Therefore, what a Muslim is exposed to, Christians are also exposed to. We are all standing together to defend Palestine and our holy places, especially the city of Jerusalem, which is under Judaization. These days, we come from wounded Palestine, whose people are being slaughtered and arrested, especially in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank."
Elias Awad, while pointing out that peace in the Middle East will be achieved with the formation of a Palestinian state, continued: "As Palestinians, we are the first to extend our hand towards peace. A peace that brings security to all people. The world must stop the devastating war and the killing of innocent children and women in Gaza. What is happening is very dangerous. We call on the entire world to stand by the Palestinian cause of establishing a free and independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital."
