Professor Sadegh Zibakalam sentenced to one year in prison after publishing news of students being poisoned

Professor Sadeq Zibakalam was sentenced to one year in prison for publishing news about students being poisoned in recent months.
The poisoning of students across the country was an issue that provoked a lot of reaction, and contradictory news was published about it, but unfortunately, no follow-up was carried out by the regime regarding its causes.
Sadegh Zibakalam, a university professor and political analyst who was among those who reacted to the poisoning of the students and spread the news, has now been sentenced to one year in prison by Branch 1057 of Tehran Criminal Court No. 2.
According to this verdict, which was issued on Sunday, July 11, 1402 by Branch 1057 of Tehran's Second Criminal Court, Sadegh Zibakalam has been sentenced to one year in prison on charges of spreading lies with the intention of disturbing public opinion in cyberspace.
The unjust sentences are being issued against the people of Iran who seek justice, including professors, students, artists, civil activists, and innocent people, while not only has no case been filed against any of the elements of the regime who caused the deliberate killing of people, but they have even attributed their mistakes and errors to citizens, and after arresting them, torturing them to extract a forced confession, and issuing death sentences, their sentences have been carried out.
The regime's injustices against the Iranian people have come to an end, and they themselves know that they are living in the last days of their reign, and their overthrow by the zealous and brave people of Iran will soon come to pass.
