Suicide of a 17-year-old teenager in Sanandaj

On Wednesday, July 12, a 17-year-old boy in Sanandaj committed suicide by taking pills. The Iranian Forensic Medicine Organization has stated that the share of Iranian teenagers in annual suicides is more than 7 percent.
According to HRANA News Agency, the news agency of the Human Rights Activists Association in Iran, on Wednesday, July 12, 2022, a teenage boy committed suicide in Sanandaj.
The identity of this teenager, "Arian (Aria) Khani, son of Namaq Khani, 17 years old and from Sanandaj," has been confirmed by HRANA.
He committed suicide by taking pills and lost his life.
There is no exact information available about the reasons and motives for this teenager's suicide.
HRANA had previously published a report examining the suicide rate of children and adolescents in Kurdistan Province over the past year.
