30% of Iranian youth neither work nor study

The Center for Statistics and Strategic Information of the Ministry of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare published the results of the NEET index assessment.
The NEET index, which indicates the share of unemployed youth aged 15 to 24 who are neither in education nor acquiring skills, announces in its latest report that about 30 percent of youth in the 15 to 24 age group were neither employed nor in education or acquiring skills during the years 2014 to 2018.
So that the mentioned rate in 2014 was about 31.6 percent, and it can be said that the share of unemployed women who are studying and training is higher than the total share and the share of men.
