Karbala Pilgrim Heading to Arbaeen Commemoration or Walking Toward Death

The Islamic Republic’s policy, through launching the Arbaeen ideology, has sent Karbala pilgrims toward death in order to commemorate the Arbaeen ceremony.

Since the beginning of pilgrim movement toward Iraq for the Arbaeen Hussaini commemoration, numerous reports have been published regarding the overturning of vehicles carrying Iranian pilgrims, which has generated widespread reactions.

According to reports published on social networks, the Islamic Republic government’s policy regarding the Arbaeen commemoration has claimed the lives of many pilgrims. According to these published reports, 16 Iranian and Afghan pilgrims were killed as a result of a collision between two vans and their overturning on the Kazemein to Samarra route.

Additionally, 7 other Iranian pilgrims were killed due to a van carrying Iranian pilgrims catching fire on the Zurbatiah to Basra route. Furthermore, following the overturning of a bus carrying pilgrims, 4 other pilgrims were killed on the Kut to Basra route.

The Islamic Republic government, while the Iranian people remain steadfast in their religious beliefs, has not only raised the issue of the hijab to maintain its throne through its supporters for a period, but has also advanced the Arbaeen ideology for its political purposes in order to exploit the people and their beliefs once again and launch a propaganda campaign at the cost of people’s lives to show the world that the Iranian people remain committed to religious and Islamic beliefs and continue to support the system and its ideology.

It should be noted that many pilgrims are also in a very poor and unsuitable spatial situation, and their accommodation has been arranged in unhygienic locations.

Was the dispatch of pilgrims, ambulances, and medicines to Iraq by the system a predetermined scenario to once again divert public opinion away from widespread protests and popular revolution so that it could buy time and pursue other thread-thin scenarios for its survival?
