Body Organs of a Porter Donated to Needy Patients
The body organs of a porter who suffered brain death as a result of a fall were donated to needy patients.
“Hossein Khale,” 23 years old, son of Mohammad and Golavij, from the village of “Kharre Aghlan” in Sardasht, suffered brain death on July 24, 1402 (July 15, 2023) due to a fall from height. He passed away yesterday, Sunday, on August 1, 1402 (July 23, 2023) in a hospital in Urmia.
A video circulated on social networks shows the donation of his organs to needy patients. While he was hospitalized, after completing the organ donation procedures to needy individuals, he passed away.
Hossein Khale’s body organs gave three people a second chance at life. His family believes that through this humanitarian act, not only did their son not lose his life in vain, but his organs continue to live in the bodies of other people and have kept their son alive for them.
