Prince Pahlavi also wrote on his Twitter page after arriving in Israel: “Yasmin and I are in Israel. We are pleased to be here and are committed to working toward building a future full of peace and prosperity that the people of our region deserve. From the children of Cyrus to the children of Israel, we will build this future together with friendship.”

The prince and his wife also attended the Holocaust memorial ceremony at the Western Wall, where they paid their respects as the memorial siren sounded to commemorate the victims of the Holocaust.
He also wrote regarding his presence at the Western Wall: “Twenty-five hundred years ago, Cyrus the Great liberated the Jewish people from captivity and helped them rebuild their temple in Jerusalem. With deep respect, I visited the Western Wall and prayed that one day Iran and Israel will be able to resume their historical friendship.”
