A seven-year-old child in Mashhad was exploited by one of his neighbors for transporting narcotics. Police investigations are underway following a complaint filed by the child’s mother.
According to Hrana news agency, citing ILNA, a seven-year-old child in Mashhad was exploited for transporting narcotics.
Based on this report, a 34-year-old woman who entered the police station accompanied by her elderly mother, while holding the legal medical examination document of her mother, told the social worker at Sepah Police Station in Mashhad: “In our neighborhood lived a young woman who was known for selling drugs, so I tried to avoid having any relationship with that 22-year-old woman and I would remind my elderly mother about this matter. Some time later, I myself went to work outside the house to help cover living expenses and entrusted the care of my children to my mother.
She added: “A few days ago, a tragic incident shook my entire being. That day when I returned home from work, I found my mother with a wounded face and worried expression. My mother said: ‘This afternoon when Khodadad (my seven-year-old son) came home, he had some food and snacks in his hand. Since I hadn’t given him money to buy snacks, I became suspicious about the matter.’
When I asked Khodadad where he got the money to buy them from, he told me: ‘Miss Sepideh (the neighbor woman) gave me money to give a package to a man who was standing on a different street!’ When I heard this, I was certain that Khodadad had transported a package of narcotics for Miss Sepideh. For this reason, I went to confront her, but not only did she deny this matter, she also beat me severely with insults and curses, to the point that my face and head were wounded.”
She continued: “Hearing this story was very bitter and unpleasant for me, so I took my mother to the legal medicine office and I also filed a complaint against the neighbor woman for deceiving my child.”
When Miss Sepideh learned of our complaint, she threatened me and my mother and claimed that we had beaten her.
It is worth noting that following a confidential order issued by Sardar Jafar Ameri (head of Sepah Police Station in Mashhad), invisible police investigations into the claims of this young woman and legal proceedings regarding the charges of insulting language and assault have begun.
