Number of Killed Minors Under 18 in November Protests Rises to 18

The number of children killed in Iran’s November protests this year has risen to 18, according to Radio Farda’s investigations.

 

Islamic Republic officials have not yet announced the exact number of people killed in these protests.

Reports reaching activists and human rights organizations indicate that more than 20 people under 18 years old were killed in the protests, and these organizations have been able to reach definitive conclusions about the identity of 18 of them.

Among these, eight were killed in Khuzestan Province, two in Kurdistan Province, two in Kermanshah Province, two in Isfahan Province, two in Tehran Province, and two in Alborz Province.

In this regard, Parvane Salehshouri, Tehran’s representative in parliament, confirmed on December 2 without providing exact figures that a number of teenagers were killed in these protests.
