September Inflation Rate Reaches 42.7 Percent

The twelve-month inflation rate through September 1398 for Iranian households reached 42.7 percent, with the highest twelve-month inflation rate belonging to Ilam Province at 51.9 percent and the lowest belonging to Qom Province at 36.3 percent.
The overall index number for Iranian households reached 181.7, representing a 0.5 percent increase compared to the previous month. In this month, the highest monthly inflation rate for Iranian households belonged to Qom Province with a 1.7 percent increase, and the highest point-to-point inflation rate belonged to Ilam Province at 46.2 percent.
The overall index number for urban households increased 0.6 percent compared to the previous month, and in this month the highest monthly inflation rate for urban households belonged to Qom Province with a 1.7 percent increase, and the highest point-to-point inflation rate for urban households belonged to Ilam Province at 45.3 percent. The twelve-month inflation rate through September 1398 for urban households reached 41.9 percent.
The highest monthly inflation rate for rural households belonged to Qom Province with a 1.2 percent increase, and the highest point-to-point inflation rate belonged to Ilam Province at 50.1 percent. The highest twelve-month inflation rate belonged to Kurdistan Province at 46.5 percent.
