They will bury the dream of not wearing the hijab in Iran.

Seyyed Mohammad Saeedi announced in his speech about the hijab: "They will take the wish of not wearing the hijab to the grave in Iran."
Seyyed Mohammad Saeedi, the Imam of Friday prayers in Qom, said in his Friday prayer sermons regarding the issue of hijab: "Today, you are witnessing that enemies and Islamophobes are pursuing this direction with greater intensity in their media. They do not want young people to climb to the pinnacle of progress by preserving the hijab and chastity, but the enemies should know that with the efforts of the people and the zeal of the authorities, they will take this wish to the grave."
In his remarks after Friday prayers, he added: "January 17 is the day of the implementation of the colonial conspiracy of revealing the veil by Reza Khan. Reza Khan enacted the law of revealing the veil in conflict with the original Iranian Islamic culture. In our country, Iran, before the veil and Islamic clothing were a divine command, they were traditionally related to Iranian culture, and by doing so, Reza Khan practically opposed religion and divine commands."
"January 19 is also the anniversary of the uprising of the people of Qom in protest against the publication of an insulting article by the Shah against Imam Khomeini. For many years, while commemorating this divine day, people have had the privilege of serving the Supreme Leader of the Revolution and benefiting from his guidance."
He also referred to the I'tikaf ceremony and continued: "The highly spiritual phenomenon of I'tikaf is considered one of the developments of the Islamic Revolution. Every year, people, especially young people, overtake each other to attend this spiritual ceremony, and in this spiritual gathering, they engage in self-knowledge, self-improvement, and consolidation of their faith. In the eyes and words of the Supreme Leader of the Revolution, the description of this ceremony is very extensive and inspiring."
The remarks of the Imam of Friday prayer in Qom regarding the hijab drew widespread reactions from the people. According to their statements, there are much bigger problems for the youth in Iran than the issue of the hijab, including unemployment, poverty, addiction, economic issues, etc., that need to be addressed, but the Islamic government and its agents seem to see no other problem except the issue of the hijab, and this issue has become a very big concern for the government. An issue that is not very important for today's youth because they are forced to look for solutions to their own bigger issues and problems, not the hijab.
