The total number of coronavirus victims in Iran has exceeded 90,000.
According to the Iranian Ministry of Health on Thursday, August 29, 292 more people have lost their lives to the coronavirus in the past 24 hours.
According to this report, nearly 34,500 new patients have been identified in the country during the announced time.
Thus, the total number of deaths has reached 90,074 and the total number of infected people in Iran has reached 3,826,447.
These statistics are being announced at a time when their accuracy is seriously questioned by independent sources, and the number of victims is estimated to be two to three times higher than the government figures.
According to the Iranian Ministry of Health report, as of August 27, 9,180,089 people had received the first dose of the vaccine and 2,628,141 people had received the second dose, bringing the total number of vaccines administered in the country to 11,808,230 doses.
The report also announced the status of 232 cities in the country as red, 117 as orange, and 99 as yellow.
