US sanctions Evin Prison and head of Iranian Broadcasting Corporation

The United States has added six individuals and three entities linked to Iran, including Evin Prison and the Ansar Hezbollah group, to its sanctions list.
The US Treasury Department has announced new sanctions against Iran in a statement. According to the statement, six individuals and three entities have been added to the new sanctions lists against Iran.
The US Treasury Department announced that Evin Prison, Ansar Hezbollah and the programming group “Hanista” have been sanctioned. The “Hanista” group is involved in the design and development of Mobogram and Mobplus, which allow for user surveillance. Ansar Hezbollah has also been accused of engaging in “seriously repressing and violating human rights.”
Abdul Ali Ali Asgari, head of the Iranian Broadcasting Organization, and Hosseinullah Karam, head of the Ansar Hezbollah Coordination Council, are on the new sanctions list.
Abdul Samad Khorramabadi, secretary of the Working Group for Determining Criminal Instances, Abdul Hamid Mohtasham, secretary general of Ansar Hezbollah and editor of the Yaltharat al-Hussein publication, and Hamid Ostad, head of Ansar Hezbollah in Mashhad, have also been sanctioned.
The name of Abdolhassan Firouzabadi also appears on this list, and according to Iranian media, based on his date of birth, it appears that the Americans meant Abolhassan Firouzabadi, the secretary of the Supreme Council for Cyberspace.
