Hamid Reza Roohi's father released a video on the 40th day of his son's death, saying: "Happy 40th birthday, God's most beautiful gift."
In this video, which he posted on social media, Hamid Reza's father thanked the people of Iran and abroad for their sympathy for his son's death.
Mr. Rouhi said in the video: "Before any speech, I consider it my duty to thank and appreciate each and every one of you dear ones. I am grateful to all of you dear compatriots in all of my land, Iran, and also outside of Iran, for not leaving us alone from the first day of Hamid Reza's ascension to heaven until today, and with your support and sympathies, you are a blessing to our wounded hearts."
He continued his speech to Hamidreza, saying: "My son, the lion-man and patriotic hero, you were and are a light from God and will always remain alive and immortal in our memories. I and all patriotic Iranians are proud of your courage and lion-manship. The feeling of your being alive in the pure hearts of people shouts out loudly that they could not and cannot destroy you, but rather your thoughts and goals have been reborn and the reflection of the light and brightness of your being has covered the entire world and will remain eternal and enduring forever. Happy 40th birthday, you are the most beautiful gift of God."
